Kansas Police Memorial Service
Kansas City, KS - Held Each May - 2018 Date & Time TBA
The Kansas City Police Department's Annual Memorial Service and Luncheon is held each May. The. FOP Lodge #4 plans the Memorial Service and the Police Department's Victim Services Unit and The Police/Fire Chaplains Association plan and coordinate the luncheon. All families of Fallen Police Officers, as well as current Officers and their wives, are invited to the luncheon. The service is held in front of City Hall at 701 N. 7th Street, Kansas City, Kansas. The public is encouraged to attend the ceremony.

Topeka Graveside Memorial Services

Topeka, KS - Held Each May - 2018 Date & Time TBA
Graveside services held each May. The ceremony begins at the Law Enforcement Center and then travels to the cemeteries of each Officer killed in the line of duty. Memorial wreaths and memorandum are held at each site. The public may attend. 

Annual Kansas Law Enforcement Memorial Candlelight Vigil
Topeka, KS - May 3rd, 2018 - 8:00 PM
Sponsored by the Fraternal Order of Police Auxiliary, Topeka #3,

The event is held in the first floor rotunda of the Kansas Capitol in Topeka, 300 SW 10th, with a candle lighting ceremony immediately following at the Law Enforcement Memorial site located on the northeast corner of the statehouse grounds. The public is encouraged to attend. 

Annual Kansas Law Enforcement Memorial Ceremony

Topeka, KS - May 4th, 2018 - NOON
Sponsored by the Kansas Law Enforcement Memorial Committee, the ceremony is held at Noon on the steps of the Kansas Capitol Building, 300 SW 10th, Topeka, KS 66612. The public is encouraged to attend. A Survivor reception, hosted by Attorney General Derek Schmidt, is held at 11:00 a.m. inside the Capitol Building. Lunch is provided by The Fraternal Order of Police for all officers and their families immediately following the services at Assumption Church, 204 SW 8th.

Wichita Law Enforcement Memorial

Wichita, KS - Held Each May - 2018 Date & Time TBA
A memorial, honoring Wichita officers lost in the line of duty, is held in May at the Wichita City Hall Building, 455 N Main St (at Central Ave), Wichita, KS 67202.  The public is encouraged to attend.

National Police Week

Washington D.C. - May 11th-17th, 2018
For one week in May, survivors, fellow officers and others from across the country gather in Washington D.C. to honor National Police Week. For more information on the National event, check out the National C.O.P.S site: nationalcops.org/aboutnpw

Ottawa Police Department/Franklin County Sheriff Memorial

Ottawa, KS = Held Each May - 2018 Date & Time TBA

The Ottawa Police Department and the Franklin County Sheriff's Department hold their local memorial service honoring officers lost in the line of duty each May. The public is encouraged to attend.

9th Annual Memorial Golf Tournament
Topeka, KS - Sunday, September 16th, 2018
All proceeds from this golf tournament will benefit KS C.O.P.S. to assist families of fallen officers attend Hands-On Programs held throughout the year and to help send survivors to National Police Week in Washington, D.C. held each May.
