10th Annual Memorial Golf Tournament - Lake Shawnee Golf Course

Topeka/Shawnee Co. Law Enforcement Graveside Services

Topeka, KS - Thursday, May 2nd, 2019 - 9:00 a.m.
This service begins at the Law Enforcement Center and then travels to the cemeteries of each Topeka/Shawnee County Law Enforcement Officer killed in the line of duty. Memorial wreaths and memorandum are held at each site. The public may attend. 

Annual Kansas Law Enforcement Memorial Candlelight Vigil
Topeka, KS - Thursday, May 2nd, 2019 - 8:00 p.m. - Event Flyer
Sponsored by the Fraternal Order of Police Auxiliary, Topeka #3,

The event is held in the first floor rotunda of the Kansas Capitol in Topeka, 300 SW 10th, with a candle lighting ceremony immediately following at the Law Enforcement Memorial site located on the northeast corner of the statehouse grounds. The public is encouraged to attend.

Annual Kansas Law Enforcement Memorial Ceremony

Topeka, KS - Friday, May 3rd, 2019 - NOON - Event Flyer
Sponsored by the Kansas Law Enforcement Memorial Committee, the ceremony is held at Noon on the steps of the Kansas Capitol Building, 300 SW 10th, Topeka, KS 66612. The public is encouraged to attend. A Survivor reception, hosted by Attorney General Derek Schmidt, is held at 11:00 a.m. inside the Capitol Building. Lunch is provided by The Fraternal Order of Police for all officers and their families immediately following the services at Assumption Church, 204 SW 8th.

Kansas City, KS Police Department Memorial Service
Kansas City, KS - Wednesday, May 8th - NOON

The Kansas City Police Department's Annual Memorial Service and Luncheon will be held Wednesday, May 8th at Noon. The. FOP Lodge #4 plans the Memorial Service and the Police Department's Victim Services Unit and The Police/Fire Chaplains Association plan and coordinate the luncheon. All families of Fallen Police Officers, as well as current Officers and their wives, are invited to the luncheon. The service is held in front of City Hall at 701 N. 7th Street, Kansas City, Kansas. The public is encouraged to attend the ceremony

Ottawa Police Department/Franklin County Sheriff Memorial Service
Ottawa, KS - Held Each May - 2019 Date & Time TBA
The Ottawa Police Department and the Franklin County Sheriff's Department hold their local memorial service honoring officers lost in the line of duty each May at the County Courthouse. The public is encouraged to attend.

National Police Week

Wichita Law Enforcement Memorial Ceremony
Wichita, KS - Friday, May 17th - 9:00 a.m.

A memorial service honoring Wichita officers lost in the line of duty will be held on Friday, May 17th at the Wichita City Hall Building, 455 N Main St (at Central Ave), Wichita, KS 67202. The public is encouraged to attend.
